perfect for weekend explorations with easy access to landmarks
I really enjoyed the short stroll to the charming Ostuni Cathedral, just a bit over 500 meters away, and the welcoming atmosphere made each morning delightful with a fantastic breakfast spread.

A culinary explorer's delight! The breakfast spread was a delicious start to each day. I highly recommend trying the hot sandwiches for lunch—they are a must! The staff's attentiveness made the experience feel even more special.
While the food was excellent, the lighting in the dining room felt too bright, creating a less cozy ambiance. A week of the same menu got a bit repetitive, too. More variety and preparation in the lunch offerings would really elevate the experience.

Beautifully renovated stone interiors create a unique atmosphere, and the inviting infinity-edge pool is perfect for relaxation.
The dining experience fell short, with a dinner menu leaving much to be desired. the lamb chops were notably small, and the language barrier complicated communication. Additionally, our room had issues with two out of three broken A/C units that leaked, leading to discomfort, and the overall infrastructure lacked clear directions regarding facilities, making it somewhat confusing.

A charming retreat among olive trees
At Masseria Santo Scalone, I was entranced by the ancient stone architecture and the elegant infinity-edge pool. Each morning began with a delightful breakfast featuring fresh local produce, and I enjoyed a peaceful stroll through the well-maintained gardens filled with fragrant lemon and fig trees. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and personalized.
While the blissful environment was perfect for relaxation, the hotel bar could use more attentive staffing during the evenings, leaving a gap at times when drinks were desired. Although not a major issue, it was something that could enhance the overall experience.

The stunning gardens and pool area provide a captivating space for relaxation, while the attentive staff make dining experiences memorable. Breakfast featured a diverse selection, with local delights like organic pulled pork stealing the spotlight. However, evening bar service could be improved, and some menu options felt repetitive over the stay, lacking variety.

Just a good pick for a trip in Ostuni with fantastic value for money. The bathroom in the Junior Suite was spacious and had a nice shower. Try to request a room away from the main door for more quiet.
